Yoga to help children feel happy, healthy and balanced

Children’s classes

Breathe and be yoga classes are exciting, creative and calming, combining fitness, fun and relaxation in a non-competitive environment. We combine yoga and mindfulness activities to encourage kids to grow in confidence and give them the tools they need to be more calm.

Here’s what your child can expect in a class:

  • An attention and centering practice to begin

  • A series of sun salutations to improve flexibility, strength and posture

  • Energetic yoga games that include… yoga poses, drama, teamwork and lots of fun!

  • A quietening practice

  • Mindfulness relaxations which children can use at home

  • An appreciation practice followed by a calm exit

The benefits of yoga and mindfulness for children are becoming increasingly well known and researched. Here are just a few of them:
